<h2 “>PMP Class with Kavita Sharma <p “>Welcome to our new-age hybrid PMP class. The PMP classes are designed by Kavita Sharma – A significant contributor- PMBOK and author of PAss PMP in 21 days bestsellers.
The class is divided into three parts.
The PMP preparations start when you sign up with us. The pre-read course “Bridge to PMP” is available at our learning management system (LMS) hosted at lms.kavitasharma.net.
The course “Bridge to PMP” will help you get started before joining the sessions. It will help you orient towards the concepts. The PMP style of questions helps ease the anxiety that any normal PMP aspirant goes through.
The PMP online class is a breeze of discussions and enablement. The class has carefully structured case studies that help PMP aspirants relax and understand the concepts. Bit by Bit. The flow is simple and works with all participants from various industries. The breakout sessions with case studies help students to interact and share knowledge. After the breakout, the discussion with Kavita Sharma gives the participants the best way to handle problems and apply concepts.
The information is broken down in an easily understandable format with examples called study capsules. Each theory session/study capsule is revised using the Let’s Play quizzes to help participants assess their knowledge.
People are seen laughing, discussing, and smiling in the workshops. It does not feel like a boring theory session.
It has been observed that many PMP aspirants do not follow their PMP dreams because they do not get an implementation plan from their trainers. Nor do the participants feel confident about the subject, and hence they lose focus, do not prepare, and if they do – most of them fail the exam due to a bad understanding of concepts or bad study material questions.
Its been observed that some of the PMP trainers are just trainers with no working experience in managing teams and manging big projects.
I know many trainers who have come to me in the past and started their own PMP shop. The reason why I call them shop is for them, it’s just business – they don’t care if someone passes of fails. They don’t care if they are teaching the right concepts. Avoid such trainers – check if they have practical experience.
Kavita Sharma has led big teams, worked with PMI, and wrote books. The workshops aim to interact with students and help them pass the PMP hurdle. The 21 Days plan has evolved over time with feedback from old success stories to make it work for the participants.
The passing percentage of Kavita Sharma’s students is way higher than the industry average. – PMI.org
It’s because that 21-day plan works.
The plan has daywise commitments and day-wise studies. No one understands if they are in the right direction or not until and unless there are checks. PDCA – that’s what we have learned as a project manager – right?
The 21-day PMP plan works because it has daywise quizzes. Each day, you recap one of the topics and attempt that quiz. It will help in 3 things:
The last few days in the 21-day plan are simulations. You can not pass until and unless you can sit for 4 hours and solve 180 questions.
PMP exam is not only test of your knowledge, it also tests your mindfulness, ability to handle stress and solve complex problems.
The approx 4-hour exam is a challenge. Kavita Sharma’s 21-day plan prepares the student to face this challenge successfully and come out with flying colors.
Most of Kavita Sharma’s students pass the PMP exam with Above Target ratings.
50% of the PMP questions are on agile. If you look at the PMP course material, each trainer will tell you concepts but will not go in depth.
I joined a Leading safe class sometime back, and the instructor just went through boring slides – no example. No recap questions and No knowledge retention. In fact, No knowledge gained. 🙁 – Retention will happen if I gain something 🙂
So the learnings.
We learn by doing. So, a case study to start and implement with your co-students to help plan and work as an agile team to learn agile concepts.
Where does PDCA apply in agile, and how do we apply PDCA in predictive projects – That’s discussed. Estimations in agile and estimations in predictive methodology are different – we discuss, and the students are far clearer on the concepts within the class.
The class follows the pre-reads and homework formula. PMP is tough. The concepts are complex. Your brain needs some time to absorb the concepts.
You know that your mind works even when you sleep.
So, the program is designed to give you a breather. Weekend classes are 4-hour classes with 5 days breather. Weekday classes are 2-hour classes with 2 days of relaxation time.
You come to the next session prepared and energetic with your questions. We discuss all the questions.
You should know that, nowadays, PMI allows only authorized trainers to allocate the 35 PDUs to students via an authorized ATP.
The student material is updated by PMI regularly, and that is the one that each instructor is supposed to follow. You can add any other topic or detail as a trainer to teach effectively to your students.
The PMP Topics – ECO Coverage

The PMP certification is a 3-STEP process:
Most of the operation Managers are in long-term operations/support projects. However, all operations have upgrades, improvements, and other initiatives. All these initiative which has a start date and end date are considered PROJECTS. So check how many process improvements you did or how many upgrades you/your team performed and take it from there. Ideally, if you have been in operations/support for more than five years, you are ready for the PMP certification.
I know you have been thinking about PMP certification but do not know where to start…
The first step is to check your eligibility.
The next step is to enroll for a PMP workshop with an Institute/consultant whom you trust. This will help you get the 35PDU certificate and jump-start your PMP preparations. More details at PMI.org: https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/project-management-pmp
That’s a great thought. However, in my experience, I’ve found that most people get anxious when they look at PMBOK, as the book is a standard and uses specific terms that are difficult to understand in the first go.
Check for Institutes/Consultants who provide specific information about pre-reads and pay attention to your questions before the workshop.
Studying before the PMP classes is a good idea as it will help you understand the topics in much better depth.
Yes – the RMC book on PMP Preparation by Rita Mulcahy is good. However, other great books can help you understand the topics in a shorter time frame by using scientific methods and help you Pass the PMP exam. Wait for your PMP training provider (Consultant) input before you start the buying spree.
You need to become a member of PMI. Once you are a member of PMI, you will receive an email with all the details on the downloadable resources and communities which you can be part of.
No, You can become a PMI member today.
