Assured pass

For project managers, operations managers & consultants

You do the work. You just don’t have the title yet.

“My title doesn’t say program manager.”

That’s okay. If you handle many projects, teams, or goals together, that work counts. Many project managers, operations managers, and consultants qualify for PgMP® without knowing it.

“AI is changing my job.”

True. AI can make schedules and write reports. It cannot lead people or own results. That is what program leaders do. PgMP® moves you to that level.

“I’m not sure I can pass this.”

You can — with the right plan. Four weeks. One group session a week. A case study that makes it real. A mentor who stays until you pass. It’s doable, and it works.

The credential

What is the PgMP® certification?

PgMP® stands for Program Management Professional. It is PMI’s highest credential for people who run many related projects together. In plain words: PMP® says you can run a project. PgMP® says you can run many projects that work toward one goal.

Your work may already count. Coordinating projects, budgets, and teams toward one outcome — that is program management, whatever your job title says. See PgMP vs PMP to compare the two.

PgMP eligibility requirements

  • With a four-year degree: 4 years of project management experience (or an active PMP®) plus 4 years of program management experience, within the last 15 years.
  • With a secondary diploma: 4 years of project management experience (or an active PMP®) plus 7 years of program management experience, within the last 15 years.
  • With a GAC-accredited degree: 3 years of project management plus 3 years of program management experience.

Not sure you qualify? Most people are closer than they think. Here’s how the application and panel review really work.

The November 2026 workshop

Four weeks. Four group sessions. One real case study.

Starting 7 November. One live group session each week. Every session is hybrid by design — open discussion, a running case study, and clear next steps. Between sessions, guided modules keep you on track, and on-demand group mentoring is there when you’re stuck. You are never left alone with a pile of material.

Week 1 · From 7 November · Live group session

Start strong — programs, not projects

Meet the group. Meet the case study — a real program you will work on together for four weeks. Learn how programs differ from projects, and where your own work fits. Leave with your study plan.

You take away: your study plan · the case study · a clear picture of the exam ahead

Week 2 · Live group session

The program life cycle — and your application

Discuss phases, gates, and decisions through the case study. Then the part most people fear: the PgMP application. Kavita helps you fill it — mapping your real work into words PMI accepts.

You take away: life cycle clarity · your application draft under way

Week 3 · Live group session

Performance domains — through discussion

Strategy, governance, stakeholders, benefits, and risk — made simple, argued out loud in the group, and tested against the case study. Your first timed mock exam this week shows you where you stand.

You take away: the domains in plain words · your first mock result · a gap list to close

Week 4 · Live group session

Panel review guidance — and your assured pass

Your application gets its final review. Kavita walks you through how the PMI panel reads it and what they look for. Remaining gaps close. You finish with mock exams behind you and a simple plan for exam day. You don’t walk in hoping. You walk in knowing.

You take away: a panel-ready application · your exam-day plan · sign-off when you’re ready

Questions

PgMP — your questions, answered simply

Yes, if you want to grow beyond single projects. PgMP® is PMI’s highest credential. It shows employers you can lead many projects toward one goal. Program roles pay more, carry more influence, and are harder for AI to replace.
Yes. PMI looks at your work, not your title. If you have coordinated related projects, budgets, or teams toward one outcome — as a project manager, operations manager, or consultant — that experience can count. Kavita helps you map it correctly in your application.

Yes. Application filling is a core part of the workshop — Kavita helps you write your experience in words PMI accepts, reviews it, and guides you through what the panel looks for. For most people this is the hardest part, so it sits at the heart of the workshop.
After you apply, a panel of certified PgMPs reviews your program experience before PMI approves you for the exam. Yes — the workshop includes clear guidance on how the panel reads your application and how to present your experience, based on Kavita’s own panel review and years of helping candidates through it.
AI is taking over task work — schedules, tracking, reports. It cannot lead people, weigh trade-offs, or own results. That is program-level work. Moving up to program leadership is one of the most practical ways to stay ahead of AI.
When doubts pile up, you join a group session. PgMP aspirants and certified PgMPs solve doubts together. Sessions run on demand — help comes when you need it, not on a fixed calendar. It is included in the workshop.
