Renew Your PMP in 2026: The Complete 60-PDU Guide

Audit-Proof Strategy by PMBOK® Guide Contributor Kavita Sharma

How to renew PMP in 2026: You must earn 60 PDUs every three years. The 2026 Talent Triangle® requires a minimum of 35 Education PDUs (distributed as 8 PDUs each in Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen) and up to 25 Giving Back PDUs.

The 8-8-8 Rule: 2026 Education Requirements

With the transition to PMBOK® 8th Edition standards, PMI has clarified the "Education" requirements. Your 35 Education PDUs must be precisely balanced to pass an audit:

🛠️

🤝

Power Skills
