The 5 things that actually matter
1. Does it deliver the full 60 PDUs? Some “renewal” bundles quietly provide 15, 35, or 45 PDUs, leaving you to find the rest. Confirm the number is 60.
2. Does it cover all three Talent Triangle areas? You need a minimum of 8 PDUs in each of Ways of Working, Power Skills, and Business Acumen. A quality bundle states its breakdown by area.
3. Is it PMI pre-approved, with easy reporting? Pre-approved courses give you an activity ID and PDU breakdown you can drop straight into CCRS.
4. Who’s teaching it? An anonymous course mill and a PMI Authorized Training Partner are not the same. Credible instructors, real reviews, and PMI-ATP status signal current, accurate content.
5. Will you actually use it? You’re spending 60 hours either way. A bundle that teaches something valuable — like practical AI for PMs — turns a compliance chore into a career investment.

What about the $99 bundles?
Budget bundles can be fine if they tick the checklist above — but many hit a low price by recycling dated lectures, skimping on one Talent Triangle area, or being vague about the actual PDU count. Cheapest isn’t a problem; thin and unclear is. Always verify the 60-and-three-areas basics before buying on price alone.
