How to Become a PMI® Authorized PMP Instructor

To teach PMP® certification courses and issue Professional Development Units (PDUs), trainers must hold an official Authorized Training Partner (ATP) Instructor Badge from PMI®. Partnering with an established ATP like Kavita Sharma & Associates makes this process seamless.

Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. Submit Your Application: Send your resume to help@kavitasharma.net. Note: PMI requires proven Agile experience or an Agile certification for approval.
  2. Nomination & Fee Payment: Once your profile is reviewed and approved, add this nomination product to your cart and complete checkout. This covers your nomination fee.
  3. PMI Registration & Voucher: We will issue a voucher (or process payment on your behalf) to register you directly with PMI for the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program.
  4. Access the Online Course: You will receive an email directly from PMI with access details for the official online course.
  5. Complete Training & Assessment: Attend the 2-day live course hosted by PMI and pass the end-of-course assessment.
  6. Receive Your Credentials: Upon passing, PMI will issue your official Authorized Instructor Badge.

You are now fully credentialed and ready to teach PMP programs!
